Raising money for Cystic Fibrosis - Lucy Jackson Sky Diving

May/June 2014

Lucy Jackson, a mother of two from Billington, decided for her 40th Birthday to do a tandem skydive for charity and instead of presents asked friends and relatives to make a donation. Lucy raised £150.00 and decided to donate the money to Cystic Fibrosis in support of local 8 year old girl Sophie Holgate also from Billington. A thank you letter and certificate from The Cystic Fibrosis Trust was handed over to Lucy by Sophie Holgate at The Dog Inn, Whalley on Friday 5th September 2014.

Sophie, Andrea, Chris & Millie Holgate are very grateful for Lucy's donation and Christine & Norman Atty from The Dog Inn, Whalley and Mags Twist would like to say thank you for supporting Cystic Fibrosis which is the pub's chosen charity
